I’ve recently picked up photography and have been learning quite a lot about it. The purchase I made for my Canon Rebel XSi last year was put to good use throughout Asia. Going from Tokyo, to Hong Kong, then Beijing, and Shanghai, I’ve managed to grab some nice photos along the way. Although I’m colorblind, it didn’t stop myself from capturing amazing photos. Here’s some samples of what I have shot in Asia. These are just some of the better ones in my opinion. I’ve been working on my composition for the most part of Asia, and all of these shots below were handheld, and tripod-less. I’m still getting used to the metering system and am in the process of learning how to deal with color and white balance. For someone being slightly colorblind, I think that will affect the outcome of the final processed image, but for the most part, even a lack of colors in the retinas can make a big difference and can also show wonders in a different perspective.
