It’s 2:30 A.M. and I am about to leave the United States in a few hours. I am very excited as this will be the first time I leave the country and fly overseas since I moved over here to the United States. My trip will first take place in Tokyo, Japan. I’m staying in Tokyo for 5 days, and then flying over to Hong Kong for 2 weeks and then Shanghai and Beijing for 5 days each which totals the entire trip to be a approximately one full month. I know this will be an exciting vacation for me an also a great escape from work and school for a full month. Hopefully, it will clear my mind and refresh my energy that I have long used up since the beginning of this year.I am going with 2 of my friends. None of us really knows how to speak the native language of each of the country fluently. There’s no planning and no tour guides so we aren’t restricted to anything and can do whatever we feel like whenever we want so I think that is pretty cool since it gives us so much flexibility and freedom. I think this way, it is much more interesting as we try to communicate with the different cultures, as compared to having everything known and planned out ahead because we won’t be expecting anything. Besides that, I know I will have a good time, as well as my friends, and hopefully we come back to the country with some good souvenirs and a rejuvenated mind.
