I disagree. Don't forget Microsoft has to bounce back harder to recover from Vista's failure. I learned on Windows and Novell systems, I am very comfortable with XP, but when Vista showed up and Microsoft refused to listen to their customers, I all but gave up on Microsoft. For the past 3 years I've focused on Mac development. It's brilliant. When you buy a Mac you're buying exceptional engineering, design and functionality. Everything is thought out. I am a systems engineer and have saved my organization millions in Microsoft licensing, hardware, and maintenance. Apple has a much lower cost of ownership and site licensing is reasonable. Unlike Microsoft.

It's true, PCs can be cheaper and you get what you pay for. I've paid more than $2300 for a PC. It's all relative, you really can't say one is more expensive than the other. No, people who buy Mac products are not necessarily wealthy. Every graphic artist, designer and editor I know (about 7 of them) is by no means wealthy. Some have steady jobs and do okay, but most are independent and struggling trying to keep the jobs coming in. You can't put a blanket identifier on a Mac user, same as a Windows user.

I agree. After using leopard for almost 6 months now, it is starting to annoying me. How is it used for design when the properties windows in cs4 are separate and stay in one space whilst the canvas is in the other?

And what about the window management? Its awefull. The dock is a fail
